When my boss asked for volunteers to go to Dubai for a conference, I immediately offered to go. I had never been there before, but it was definitely on my bucket list. He chose three other people along with me to represent our company. I was so thankful that one of my really good friends was one of the other three chosen. We agreed to room together, and we even managed our schedules so we could stay an extra few days after the conference was over. We knew that between those three days and a car rental, we would be all set to explore Dubai at our own leisure.
The company took care of the hotel rooms and meals, but they did not provide a rental car since everything we would need was right there in the hotel we all stayed at. That was okay with me though because I actually preferred to rent the car on my own anyway. I did not want a car that my grandmother would pick out, so it worked out just fine. I was able to find a good car rental company that is located at the airport, and I was happy with the selection of vehicles that they were offering.
I ended up getting an Infiniti Q70 mainly because I liked how it looked. I had read a good many things about the car, particularly about how safe they are as well as how speedy they can be too. I was not planning on doing any drag racing, but I figured it would be fun to crank it up a bit there. My friend liked the car that I picked out too, and all four of us actually used it a good bit while we were there. I can’t wait until my boss asks for volunteers again!
